Palacio San Martin was constructed in 1883 and converted into a hotel in 2001. Located in a quiet square in the heart of Madrid, within a few hundred metres of the Puerta del Sol, the Plaza Mayor and the Plaza de Oriente, the Palacio San Martin's position is an enviable one, as guests can enjoy the historic splendours of Spanish capital on their doorsteps.

The hotel itself preserves much of the building's former characteristics, such as the use of marble, fine woods and an impressive crafted ceiling in the lobby.
